Medhat Khalil

Medhat Khalil has dedicated his career to realizing a vision: Raya Holding. After 15 years holding top management positions with IBM Egypt, Khalil founded the pioneering IT companies Protech and Oratech in 1993 and 1997 respectively. In 1998, Protech and Oratech became two of the seven entities comprising Raya Holding. Medhat Khalil is a member of the National Sports Council, board member in the National Fund for Finance of Juniors, Youth, and Sports.

Mustafa Abdalla

Mr. Mustafa Abdalla began his professional career with First National Bank of Chicago, now JPMorgan Chase, as a Vice President, holding various senior executive management positions in cash management, sales and marketing, investment banking and commercial lending and was posted briefly in New York, London and Tokyo. He also headed the Corporate Banking for the National Commercial Bank (NCB), the Saudi Kingdom’s largest bank. For three years, he was appointed as a Senior Public Service Administrator for the State of Illinois. Additionally, he was a part-time professor at Chicago’s Northeastern Illinois University. Furthermore, he was actively involved in the formation of the Northeastern University’s Graduate Business School. He is responsible for all investment activities for Al Rajhi and serves as a Board Member for several companies in banking, telecommunications, petrochemical, oil and gas, technology, manufacturing and services sectors.

Mr. Amr Eltawil returned to Egypt from the United States in 1993, with a degree from Texas A&M University and work experience as a construction manager for a real estate developer. At home, he applied his knowledge to expand his family’s business, Triangle Holding, into the fields of real estate development, utilities and truck distribution and oil & gas services. Currently the CEO of Triangle Holding, Eltawil is known as an innovative entrepreneur with close links to the market.

Mohamed El Hamamsy

Engineer Mohamed Aly El- Hamamsy graduated from Cairo University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He later earned an MBA and subsequently a Master’s degree in Islamic Art and Architecture. El-Hamamsy has had a distinguished career with IBM company, working in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and IBM Europe’s Headquarters in Paris. From 1987 he led IBM Egypt’s rapid expansion in the growing Egyptian market. El-Hamamsy assumed the position of CEO and General Manager of Vodafone Egypt on the 1st of July 1999, from 1999 to 2003 and subsequently stayed as Deputy Chairman of the Board. He is currently President of MegaCom, a leading management and business consultations company. He is a member of the Board of Misr Bank, the Egyptian Competition Authority and a number of other organizations.

Sahar El-Sallab has played a pivotal role in making CIB one of Egypt’s highest performing private sector banks. She joined CIB in 1981 from Citibank and has nearly 30 years of local and international banking experience. She is also the chairperson of CI Capital Holding, and a member of CIB’s high policy committee. Ms. El-Sallab earned her degree in business administration from the American University in Beirut in 1974.

Mr. Ashraf Sabry has gained his wide expertise in Information and Communication Technology through his dedicated work in IBM for 10 years in sales and marketing. He holds an MBA from Leeds University in the UK. With his radiant track record, Ashraf Sabry has joined Raya as a senior member in the team that founded the company in 1997. During his career at Raya, Ashraf was a key player by establishing several companies and driving the expansion of Raya into the Middle East. Upon joining Raya, Ashraf was a Business Development Director, then Chief of Financials and Operations, then Chief Executive Officer for Raya IT line of business. Ashraf is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Fawry, an Electronic bill Payment and Presentment (EBPP) Company. Fawry has been established with a partnership among world-class vendors; HSBC, Bank of Alexandria, Arab African International Bank, Raya Holding and the Technology Development Fund with a capital of 46 million pounds.
