In cooperation with Ministry of Communications and Information Technology: Raya trains and hires young university graduates at Raya Academy

After the graduation of the first class of the Contact Center and Customer service training program in cooperation with MCIT, Raya participated with the MCIT to train a group of fresh university graduates as part of the 2nd phase of the Specialized Training Program initiative launched by MCIT.
The program aims at increasing the proficiency standards of youth working in the field of IT and Telecommunications through a training program that enables the youth to find work opportunities upon completing the program. The one -year- training program includes a theoretical training and a practical training for high achievers. Upon completing the program, trainers will get Microsoft International Certificate.

Dr. Tarek Kamel attended signing the contracts that entails training around 2500 young university graduates in 8 different IT tracks that include: Web Development, E-Business, E-Commerce, Networking Security and Management, Software Development and Programming Tools.

Raya will hire a large percentage of this training program’s graduates after successfully completing their training program in Raya according to their specialization. Trainees will be assigned jobs in Egypt and in Raya offices abroad.

Dr. Tarek Kamel, Minister of Communications and Information Technology said that the program is part of the human development initiative adapted and fully financed by the ministry in its strategy contributing to the development of high caliber in the IT field. According to Kamel, The training covers all the Egyptian governorates and is closely monitored by the National Telecommunication Institute for quality standards assurance.

“Raya’s participation in this program comes from our strong belief in the private companies’ role in achieving the government’s developmental objectives aiming at reducing the unemployment rate,” said Ashraf Sabry, Vice Chairman and CEO for IT at Raya. Ashraf said that due to the rapid increase in Raya’s local and international operations, the company decided to hire large percentage of this training program’s graduates.
