Chief Accountant (Job Code CA)

Responsibilities 

  • Direct control general ledgers, account receivable, account payable revenue recognition, depreciation, cost, and operating expenses.
  • Supervises and participated in the preparation of various financial statement and reports.
  • Participate in the preparation of annual budget and report the deviation between actual and budgets.
  • Responsible for the timely books closing and necessary reporting.
  • Participate in cost analyses.
  • Supervise monthly and year-end closing tasks and reconciliations.
  • Ensure implementation of corporate internal controls in the general accounting area.
  • Establishes system controls for new accounting systems and develops procedures to improve existing system.
  • Coordinate and prepare external audit materials and external financial reporting on quarterly basis.
  • Manage the system of recording, monitoring, controlling, and safeguarding assets.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with International and Egyptian Accounting Standards and transport and fair reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in ERP systems ( oracle ).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel , and PowerPoint.
