Raya considers applying for the 3rd Mobile operator license

During a press conference in Gitex Dubai 2005, Medhat Khail, Chairman and CEO of Raya announced that Raya is currently considering applying for the 3rd Mobile operator license in Egypt. Khail said that there are negotiations to form alliance with and international Telecom cooperation and a group of investors. He said that applying for the license will depend on the specifications and conditions announced later by the Egyptian government.
